Former Super Eagles captain, Austin Jay-Jay Okocha, has weighed in on the future of two Nigerian strikers in Victor Osimhen and Victor Boniface, Soccernet.ng reports.
Victor Osimhen came off the back of a successful season on loan in Turkey with Galatasaray, winning the League title and the league cup while claiming the golden boot award.
Boniface, on the other hand, struggled to replicate the same form that saw him win the Bundesliga Rookie of the Season Award in his debut campaign due to injuries.

His form dipped in his second season, and Okocha empathised with the 24-year-old, urging him to fight for his place at the Bay Arena.
“Of course, his second season was not as successful as his first, but we can’t forget the injury he had. We all know it takes time to come back from a serious injury,” Okocha told Sport 247.
“If he stays at Bayer Leverkusen, he must fight for his place and impress the new manager, but if he decides to leave, we hope it’s to a club that’s a better fit for his career.”
“The decision should be his. Whether it goes well or not, he must own it.
“I don’t believe in deciding someone’s future. He should choose what’s best for him and his family,” the AFCON 1994 winner concluded.
