Super Eagles and Real Sociedad striker, Sadiq Umar Mesbah, has stated via his social media page that his loan spell at Valencia will not be extended, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 28-year-old joined Carlos Corberan's side from Real Sociedad in January in search of game time after he played just seven league games in San Sebastian.
Valencia were in a relegation battle when Sadiq joined them, but his five goals in sixteen games helped them turn their season around as they finished just two points outside of La Liga's top ten.

Valencia's sporting director, Miguel Angel Corona, previously mentioned he was pleased with the way the Super Eagles forward has helped the team.
“Well, we want, above all, to confirm our objective. That's the most important thing. We're very happy (with Sadiq). His numbers also speak for themselves.
“He's contributed a lot, and not just in goals, which are numbers, but also in all the work he contributes to the team, as of course all his teammates do, and as Carlos rightly points out, they are managing as a group to raise the level of each player for the good of the team,” the Spaniard said as previously reported by Soccernet.ng.
