Newly-promoted German Bundesliga club Cologne are plotting a transfer for Super Eagles defender Jordan Torunarigha in the summer, Soccernet.ng reports.
Torunarigha has been an important player for Gent for the past three years. He has been the main man at the defence.
However, he is set to be out of contract this summer as he has refused to pen a new deal at the clubs.
There have been speculations that Torunarigha has wanted to leave the Buffalos for the last two years, but Gent have held on to him, preferring to keep him until the expiration of his deal.
The 27-year-old defender has been linked with a transfer to clubs like Borussia Monchengladbach, Lyon, and Marseille, but nothing concrete has emerged.
