Super Eagles forward Nathan Tella was forced off in the 46th minute of Bayer Leverkusen's German Bundesliga game at Union Berlin on Saturday after he seemed to have suffered a concussion, prompting fears that he could be sidelined for a while, Soccernet.ng reports.
Tella collided with a Union Berlin player in the first half and even though he made it into the break, he could not continue the game after just one minute of play in the second half.

This prompted fears that he may have suffered a head injury and could be out of action for a while. However, according to Werkself Xtra, Tella did not suffer a concussion. So it could have just been a case of whiplash.
If this is the case, then Tella could be back in action as early as next week, when Bayer Leverkusen play St. Pauli.

Nathan Tella did not suffer a serious injury, so barring any other setbacks before the end of the season, he should be available to play for Nigeria.
