The Nigeria Football Federation has officially confirmed the Super Eagles’ participation in the 2025 Unity Cup, which is scheduled to take place in London, Soccernet.ng reports.
The tournament, featuring four teams, will set the stage for an exciting Jollof Derby clash when the Super Eagles face off against the Black Stars of Ghana.
This match is expected to be another thrilling encounter, similar to their previous meeting, which ended in a 4-1 defeat for Nigeria.

The tournament will officially kick off on Tuesday, 27th May 2025, with the first semi-final between Trinidad & Tobago and Jamaica. This historic clash, dubbed the ‘Trini-Jam’, will mark the first-ever meeting between these two teams on UK soil.
The following day, Wednesday, 28th May 2025, the 2023 AFCON runners-up will face their bitter rivals, Ghana, in a highly charged match steeped in the long-standing 74-year rivalry between the two teams.
