The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face the Wasps of Rwanda on matchday five of their 2026 World Cup qualification campaign, Soccernet.ng reports.

Meanwhile, Igoh Ogbu will have more than just national pride on the line when Nigeria take on Rwanda in a crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier— he’ll also be playing against his fiancée’s home country.

Ogbu, who plays for Czech Republic-based club Slavia Prague, is currently in camp with the Nigerian national team.

Who is Igoh Ogbu's wife?

The identity of Ogbu's wife is yet to be made public, but a new report has confirmed that the Slavia Prague defender is dating a woman from Rwanda.

Meanwhile, ahead of the must-win encounter in Kigali, he revealed that his Rwandese fiancée is fully behind him, despite the split loyalties.

“Coming here, she was happy because she wanted me to know her country [Rwanda] as well. So, I am really happy and glad that she supported me,” Ogbu told Oganlamedia.
