Super Eagles forward Samuel Chukwueze is expected to return to AC Milan’s starting eleven for their Serie A clash against Cagliari at Unipol Domus on Saturday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Chukwueze has seen his game time increase in recent weeks due to Rafael Leao’s struggles. However, the Nigerian was benched in midweek, when AC Milan locked horns with Real Madrid.
Of course, the Rossoneri ran out with a handsome 3-1 win, but Chukwueze was not involved as he watched the entire fixture from the bench.
Nonetheless, the Nigerian is set to return to action this weekend. According to Milan Posts, Milan boss Paulo Fonseca is expected to effect some changes in his starting eleven when they play Cagliari at Unipol Domus. And this will see Chukwueze return to the flanks. He will be joined in the attack by Francesco Camarda, Leao, and former Chelsea star Christian Pulisic.
The Rossoneri currently sit 7th in Serie A with 17 points after ten games, and they will be desperate to get a win against a Cagliari side that sit 17th on the table.
AC Milan have not dropped points against Cagliari in their last five meetings. And they will be looking to keep it that way. Chukwueze has never scored or assisted against Cagliari, and he will looking to change that.
Chukwueze is set to reunite with the ex-Chelsea star in AC Milan’s Serie A clash against Cagliari. Just like mastering difficult levels in Geometry Dash, their synergy on the field will be crucial to overcoming challenges and achieving victory. Fans eagerly await how their teamwork will unfold in this intense matchup.
