“I am worth more than 100 million euros”- Super Eagles star Victor Osimhen

Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen has expressed confidence in his football quality as be believes he is one of the best players in the world, Soccernet.ng reports.

Osimhen has been on a steady rise since 2020. The 25-year-old striker excelled at Napoli during his four-year stay. He was key to their Scudetto triumph two seasons ago, scoring 26 goals in Serie A. Osimhen was also the first African to become the Capocannoniere.

However, last season, it was clear that Osimhen was going to part ways with Napoli. He was linked to PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, and Al Ahli, but the deal failed to materialize.

Eventually, he had to join Turkish giants Galatasaray after he was frozen out of Napoli's squad for the season.

In his four games at the club, Osimhen has registered two goals and four assists. And in a recent interview, Osimhen has expressed confidence in his ability as he sees himself as an elite striker.

“I am worth more than 100 million euros. There are few players like me in the world who have achieved the same results and success as me,” Osimhen said, per Tutto Sport.

“Everything is linked to my characteristics, the things I do on the pitch and my quality. I think I deserve a high valuation.

“I am aware of the contribution I can give to a team. Do people think differently? Some say 15 million euros, others say 100-120-150. Everyone has different opinions”.

Osimhen is expected to remain at Galatasaray till the end of the current campaign. If he continues to score goals and avoid injuries, he could be on his way to a bigger club by next summer.

This young man has been corrupted by his greedy agent. Maybe he should talk about and focus on team, winning, goals, assists, cups, awards, working with kids, setting an example. At Napoli he won a cup because he was supported by a team, a coach, great fans, and an owner that funded it all.
