Super Eagles and Orlando Pirates central defender, Olisa Ndah, has admitted he's open to joining a European club, should an offer be submitted, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old centre-back has been a mainstay in the Orlando backline since his move from Nigeria Professional Football League side, Akwa United in 2021.
Since joining The Buccaneers, the former Remo Stars man has lifted the MTN 8 League Cup twice, in back-to-back seasons at the Orlando Stadium in Soweto.
Following a brilliant individual campaign and the consistency of those performances last term, the Nigerian defender was linked with Italian side, Sassuolo. But a move never materialized as there was no official bid on the table.
Nonetheless, the defender remains confident that the big step to Europe is just around the corner if he can consistently perform at the level he currently plays.
He reiterated his fulfilment with Orlando, but admitted he's open to playing European football, should an offer surface.
“I am happy where I am but I am open if any opportunity comes my way,” the dreadlocked defender said in quotes revealed by Goal.
Ndah started his career in the Nigeria Professional Football League, joining Ikenne-based Remo Stars on a two-year deal in the 2018/2019 season.
Eighteen months later, he joined Akwa United on a two-year deal, winning the League title with the club. He joined Orlando Pirates in 2021, and has been plying his trade in South Africa ever since.
