Dutch club Heenrenveen and Russian giants CSKA Moscow are at loggerheads over the transfer deal for Chidera Ejuke in 2020, Soccernet.ng reports.
Ejuke has constantly been on the move for the past six years. He started his sojourn in Europe at Norwegian side Valerenga, but he moved to Heerenven two years later.
Then, just one year later, the 26-year-old forward sealed a transfer to Russian side CSKA Moscow. But due to the Russo-Ukranian war, he went on two loan deals at Antwerp and Hertha Berlin before his contract expired at the end of last season.
Ejuke is currently at Spanish Laliga side Sevilla after penning a two-year deal. However, his transfer from Heenrenveen to CSKA Moscow four years ago seems to be causing a rift.
According to Voetbal Nieuws, the transfer fee for Ejuke’s transfer to CSKA was €11 million, to be paid in different installments.
However, CSKA Moscow have reneged on the deal and have refused to pay the full fee. Hence, both clubs are now at loggerheads over the issue.
