Roma legend Roberto Pruzzo has urged his former club to try to sign Super Eagles attacker Ademola Lookman for the second half of the season, Soccernet.ng reports.
Roma have had a busy winter transfer window so far, having already signed Robinio Vaz from Marseille and Donyell Malen from Aston Villa.
However, they are not done yet, as the club remains eager to bring in reinforcements to aid their push for the Serie A title.

As they look to finalize their business before the close of the January transfer window, club legend Pruzzo has urged the hierarchy to raid their rivals, Atalanta, for Lookman.
Why Pruzzo Wants His Former Club To Sign Ademola Lookman
Roberto Pruzzo views Ademola Lookman as one of the best attackers in the world — a view that is certainly not wide of the mark.
Over the last two seasons, Lookman has been a pivotal figure for La Dea. During his time in Bergamo, the 28-year-old forward has contributed an impressive 55 goals and 26 assists in 134 appearances.

Lookman was widely expected to leave Atalanta for a bigger club during the last summer transfer window, but the club blocked a move despite reported interest from Arsenal, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, and Galatasaray.
While he had a slow start to the current season, he has been on fire since December. He was also a key factor in Nigeria's third-place finish at the recently concluded 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, contributing three goals and four assists.
Given this form, Pruzzo believes the Nigerian would provide the spark needed to spur the Giallorossi toward silverware.

“Roma should sign Lookman, maybe on loan. His adventure with Atalanta seems to be coming to an end,” Pruzzo told Radio Radio.
“With a purchase like that, we could really start dreaming. There's nothing concrete, but it would be the right move to close the circle and have fun from now until the end of the season.”
Roma Signing Lookman Would Be a Massive Heist
Currently, there have been no concrete links between Lookman and the Giallorossi, and a deal remains unlikely. Atalanta are notoriously difficult to negotiate with and would likely view selling to a direct rival as self-sabotaging.

Even if they were to consider a sale, La Dea would demand a fee in the region of €50 million — a significant figure for Roma's current budget.
While Pruzzo suggested a loan deal, Atalanta have repeatedly informed suitors that they will only listen to bids for an outright purchase.
In the meantime, Lookman has been heavily linked with a move to Galatasaray, and the Turkish giants appear willing to break the bank to secure his signature.
However, with the Super Eagles star still having 18 months left on his contract, Atalanta are expected to play hardball and may hold onto him until the summer.
