The 22-year-old joined Leverkusen in July in a twenty-two million euro deal from Belgian side, Union Saint-Gilloise, and has won the Bundesliga rookie of the month award four times.

Napoli, A.C. Milan and Juventus are the three clubs eyeing the Super Eagles striker. Victor Osimhen is reportedly close to signing a new deal with Napoli, but with an official announcement yet to be made, the club are eyeing Boniface as a potential replacement.
Milan are also looking to replace the ageing Olivier Giroud and with Dusan Vlahovic keen on leaving the Allianz Arena in Turin, Massimiliano Allegri also has his sights on Boniface, and the Nigerian will cost the interest parties about €40m to secure his services.
Jose Peseiro included Boniface in his provisional 40-man squad for the AFCON tournament and will want the Leverkusen striker in his squad to travel to Ivory Coast as he’s the Nigerian player with most goal involvements this season.
