The Nigerian international ended his mini-goal drought to get the Eagles back on track after the international break
Super Eagles striker Terem Moffi scored the only goal of the game as OGC Nice claimed a slim 1-0 win over Toulouse in their Ligue 1 clash on Sunday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Moffi had been without a goal or an assist since netting two goals and creating the other in a 3-2 win over PSG – a match that created quite a bit of controversy between him and Kylian Mbappe – back in mid-September.
The former Lorient striker also fired blanks for the Super Eagles during the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and Zimbabwe last week.
He was also kept quiet in the first half at the Allianz Riviera as Toulouse kept the OGC Nice attack at bay.
However, Moffi produced a moment of quality in the 54th minute when he pounced on a Morgan Sanson assist to hand Nice the winning goal.
It was Moffi’s fourth goal of the Ligue 1 season, and it handed Nice their eighth win of the campaign.
The win extends Les Aiglons’s incredible streak, which sees them unbeaten this season while keeping eight clean sheets in a row.
After claiming victory over Toulouse, second-place OGC Nice climbed closer to leaders Paris Saint Germain on the Ligue 1 table, a point behind the champions.
