After taking to social media to express how he feels scapegoated, Jadon Sancho will continue his training away from United’s first team.
Manchester United coach, Erik Ten Hag mentioned that Jadon Sancho will not be part of the team’s squad to face Burnley tomorrow night, Soccernet.ng reports.
It was reported that Sancho was initially dropped from the squad that fell to defeat at the Emirates Stadium, just before the international break and accused Ten Hag of scapegoating him after the boss made post-match remarks concerning the Englishman’s lackadaisical attitude in training.
Sancho’s comments on Ten Hag remained on his X (formerly called Twitter) page for a while before he eventually took them down. According to 90min.com, Sancho declined to apologise to Ten Hag for his comments and was subsequently banished from the first team for the foreseeable future.
In response, the coach said he wasn’t sure Sancho would ever don a Manchester United jersey again, and in recent quotes revealed by Fabrizio Romano, the manager mentioned the twenty-three-year-old’s return to first-team football is completely dependent on his actions.

Sancho’s absence, however, brings light to the presence of previously injured players. Raphael Varane, Sofyan Ambrabat, Harry Maguire and Mason Mount are all reportedly back in training.
Manchester United’s run of form is worrying and the coach is increasingly under pressure, and if the results do not come out right in their next run of games, with Burnley as a start this weekend.
