The tireless midfielder becomes the second Nigerian to sign for the club after retired Super Eagles defender Efe Ambrose.
Lawal also joins the likes of Leon Balogun, Cyriel Dessers, and Nnamdi Ofoborh, who play their trade in the Premiership.
Livingston are a mid-table club in the Premiership. They have not won a trophy since they won the Scottish Challenge Cup in 2015. The club finished 7th in the Premiership last season.
