The Liverpool star currently earns £350,000 every week, but he could earn way more than that if he decides to join the Saudi Arabian train
Saudi Arabian Professional League club Al Ittihad are planning to offer Liverpool €100million for the transfer of Egypt international Mohamed Salah, in a deal that would make him the highest-paid player in the world, Soccernet reports.
Salah has been one of the best players in the world since he moved to Liverpool in 2017. The 31-year-old right winger has registered 187 goals and 80 assists in 308 appearances for the Reds, helping them win the Champions League and long-awaited Premier League title.
His brilliance over the years has not gone unnoticed, as Real Madrid and PSG have been linked to him in the past. Nonetheless, Liverpool have managed to hold him down.
However, they could lose their Egyptian talisman soon. This is coming as Saudi Arabian side Al Ittihad are planning to send Liverpool a €100million bid for the forward. If he agrees, they will make him the highest earner in the Saudi Pro League over Cristiano Ronaldo, who earns around €203million yearly and Neymar, who earns around €140million yearly.
It is a tempting offer for Salah and Liverpool because €100million is a huge amount for a 31-year-old. For Salah, it would be home away from home as he would be living in a Muslim country and making a lot of money.
