The former Slovakian kings are looking to challenge for the league next season, and they have added a Nigerian to their attack
Former Slovakian champions AS Trencin have completed the signing of Nigeria youth international Sunday Jude, Soccernet reports.
Trencin have been struggling in the Slovakian top-flight since they won the league seven seasons ago. They finished tenth in the league last season and only managed to survive relegation.
Trencin scored just 20 goals in 22 league games last season, but they are looking to do better next season.
They have now confirmed the signing of Nigeria Under-20 attacker Jude. The 18-year-old forward scored for Nigeria at the last Under-20 World Cup and Under-20 Nations Cup.
Jude is versatile, as he can operate as a striker and a winger. He is also very and deskilfuladly in one-on-one situations. However, his decision-making can be poor at times.
He joins the long list of Nigerian players like Moses Simon, Kingsley Madu, Rabiu Ibrahim, and Uche Nwofor, who have played for the club.
