Watford, Leicester, others line up for Yakubu
Yakubu is currently on the radar of English Championship sides Watford and Leicester City, as well as Belgian club KAA Gent and Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.
Scouts from some of these clubs have followed the midfielder in recent weeks, with his impressive performance placing him among the most sought-after Nigerian youngsters in Europe this winter.

Decision on Adam Yakubu expected this week
A source close to the player has confirmed that AS Trenčín will evaluate all proposals this week before making a final decision on Yakubu’s next destination.
“Everything will be decided this week. The offers are genuine, but I don’t want to say he will join a particular club and then see him move elsewhere,” the source told Footy-Africa. “He’s doing very well and will definitely leave in January.”

Yakubu joined AS Trenčín from Plateau United and has quickly established himself as a key figure in midfield. With the January window approaching, his future is expected to be resolved imminently.
