The Nigerian starlet, Gift Orban, scored the game-winning goal against 10-man Anderlecht on Sunday
KAA Gent goalkeeper, Paul Nardi, applauded Gift Orban’s goal in their 1-0 win against Anderlecht.
The 20-year-old’s spectacular goal past the Netherlands goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen at the Ghelamco Arena sealed the victory.
The visitor’s goalie could only watch as the Buffalo attacker curled the ball perfectly into the upper right corner of the goal.

The former Monaco goalkeeper, on the other side of the field, applauded the attacker’s goal and indicated that there was little a goalkeeper could do to stop it.
“From behind, it was a phenomenally beautiful goal,” he said, as cited by HLN.
The goalkeeper, who concedes that no goalie will be able to stop the Nigerian’s goal, also says even Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois, who won the Yashin Award in 2022, will not be able to get a hold of the ball.
The 28-year-old added: “You saw that just on the right side of the intersection, there are beautiful bulbs, beautiful, magnificent. I don’t think any goalkeeper is going to get that ball anymore. I still saw the goalkeeper trying, but not even Thibaut Courtois. Neither do I. (laughs) Oh well, such goals are nothing short of fantastic to experience, especially for your audience in that ambience.”
The former FC Lorient player, who moved to Belgium last summer, praises the supporter’s presence during the team’s triumph at home.
“There were indeed many people in the stadium, and that really helped us. There was also a good atmosphere against OHL. I hope they will be with many against Basaksehir on Thursday, too, because that will be a difficult game.” he added.
Hein Vanhaezebrouck’s men now sit in fifth position in the Belgian Pro League standings, one point behind fourth-placed Club Brugge, having earned their second win in five games.
