Two Nigeria international shot-stoppers shipped seven goals combined on a forgettable Sunday
Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie conceded three goals as Paris FC lost 2-3 to former champions Olympique Lyonnais.
It is the first time Nnadozie will let in three goals in the French Feminine Division 1 since PSG defeated Paris FC 2-3 in May 2021.
However, a Renhard double and Cascarino’s late winner for Lyon Ladies ensured Nnadozie and Paris FC finished the matchday nine encounter empty-handed.
In Cyprus, Super Eagles goalkeeper Francis Uzoho endured a difficult evening as Omonia Nicosia fell to a 4-0 loss at APOEL.
A red card to defender Adam Lang in the 25th minute did not help matters for Omonia. Still, the visitors held on till the closing stages of the first half when Dvali opened the floodgates.
And Uzoho shipped three more after the break as Kvilitaia, Marquinhos, and Efrem all got their efforts past him for Omonia’s worst defeat in his last ten games.
