Cremonese were looking to build on last week's 2-2 draw at Spezia when they welcomed Sampdoria to the Stadio Giovanni Zini.
The Grigiorossi had a great start to the game, and within seven minutes, they were awarded a penalty after David Okereke was fouled in the box.

The game ended 1-0 to Sampdoria in Cremona, a result that ensures that Cremonese remain rooted to the bottom of the Serie A with just four points after eleven games.
