Super Eagles striker Henry Onyekuru scored for Adana Demirspor in their 2-2 draw away at Kayserispor.

Onyekuru failed to find the net when Adana Demirspor, but he was looking to be back amongst the goals when his side traveled to the Kadir Has Stadium to take on Kayserispor.

The Blue Lightnings started the game well, as Badou Ndiaye scored after just twelve minutes to put them in the driver’s seat.

Onyekuru then doubled the scoring for Adana Demirspor in the 65th minute to provide some daylight.

However, a late capitulation from Adana Demirspor saw them concede two goals in the final quarter of the match courtesy of Mario Gavranovic and Miguel Cardoso.

It ended 2-2 at Kayserispor, and the result leaves Adana Demirspor in second place, three points behind Fenerbahce, who have a game in hand.

Onyekuru’s goal takes his tally to four in the Super Lig this season.

Elsewhere in the Czech Republic Liga, Super Eagles striker Peter Olayinka got a brace and an assist in Slavia Prague’s 4-1 thrashing of Bohemians.

Slavia Prague were looking to continue their four-game winning streak when they took on neighboring Bohemians at the Dolicek.

However, Slavia Prague were pegged back very early after Roman Kvet scored for the home side in the second minute.

Nonetheless, Olayinka and his teammates picked themselves up from the early disappointment, and the Nigerian striker was at the heart of the resurgence.

Olayinka equalize for the former Czech champions in the third minute. Then Vaclav Jurecka scored the second for Slavia Prague to give them the lead going into the break.

Bohemians held their defense line strongly early in the second half, but Slavia Prague were just too hot to handle.

Olayinka set up Ondrej Lingr for his side’s third in the 76th minute before scoring his second of the game three minutes later.

The Nigeria international was not the only Nigerian in action, as Super Eagles hopefuls Moses Usor and Yira Sor saw 29 and 19 minutes of action for Slavia Prague.

The Nigerian striker’s inputs ensured his side ran out 4-1 winners.

Slavia Prague now sit second, four points behind Viktoria Plzen.
