The newly promoted Serie A campaigners have splashed the cash this summer as they look to retain their top-flight status at the end of the season
Italian transfer market expert Nico Schira reports that AS Cremonese have completed the signing of Ghana international forward Felix Afena-Gyan from AS Roma for €7 million.

Interestingly, Afena-Gyan only signed a contract extension with Roma in July, committing himself to I Giallorossi until 2016.
But Cremonese made Roma an offer they could not refuse for the 19-year-old who only made his Serie A debut in October, weeks after he was promoted to the senior team.
Afena-Gyan will collaborate with Nigerian strikers Cyriel Dessers and David Okereke at Cremonese.
Okereke scored for the Serie A new boys in the opening-day defeat to Fiorentina. The former Spezia forward only joined from Club Brugge this summer.
However, Super Eagles striker Dessers is yet to open the scoring for the Grey and Reds since joining from KRC Genk.

The former Feyenoord loanee came closest to getting his first goal against Roma at the weekend, hitting the woodwork from a fine, first-time shot.
A mobile and dynamic African front three of Dessers, Okereke, and Afena-Gyan will be well-placed to lead Cremonese’s survival hopes this term.
