The 37-year-old could be on his way out of Old Trafford this summer after just a year at the club

Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly opened the door to an exit from the club this summer. And the Portuguese could team up with Super Eagles striker Victor Osimhen as Napoli have indicated interest in his services.

Ronaldo made a ceremonious return to Manchester last year after he left the club twelve years ago. However, his return was not the “Cinderella” story he would have expected.

The Portuguese hitman recorded 24 goals in 38 appearances last season. Unfortunately, his goals did very little to help the red devils.

Manchester United finished sixth in the Premier League. And it could have been worse if West Ham had not bottled on the final day of the season.

According to the Mirror, Ronaldo is frustrated with Manchester United’s lackadaisical approach to transfers this summer. And the 37-year-old has revealed that he wants to exit the club this summer.

Reports indicate that Napoli are one of the clubs interested in landing the Portuguese. And if a transfer goes through, Ronaldo could form a deadly attacking pair with Nigerian striker Osimhen.

Also, it would be the first time that Ronaldo would play alongside a Super Eagles player.

Still, that would depend on if Osimhen remains at Napoli despite links with a move to the Premier League this summer.
