Cyriel Dessers didn’t get a permanent contract at Feyenoord despite his successful loan spell at the club
The Super Eagles forward was coy on his future when he was asked as he added that he’s not sure about where he’s headed.
Genk loaned out Dessers last season to the Eredivisie side and are willing to have him back or sell him for at least €4m, a valuation many clubs have found to be over the bar.
Dessers scored 10 Europa Conference League goals last season as he powered Feyenoord to the final. They lost 1-0 to Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma and and the Nigerian left the club as a fans’ favourite.
“As long as I’m there I will always give 100 percent for Genk,” Dessers told Voetbal Primeur.
“That was also the case in the year that I sat on the couch. But now I feel something is moving. After my vacation, I have to sit down with the coach we will then hear what the plans are.”
“It is too early to say I will leave, but it is possible. There is interest. Let’s stick with that.”
