The Toffees survived relegation after an incredible performance against Crystal Palace, and one man had yet another brilliant show

Everton fans took the social media to shower accolades on Super Eagles striker after the Toffees’ incredible 3-2 comeback victory against Crystal Palace.

It looked like it was game set and match as Crystal Palace took a two-goal lead into the break. However, Frank Lampard’s lads came out for the second half, all guns blazing. Three goals from Michael Keane, Richarlison, and Dominic Calvert-Lewin ensured a 3-2 victory for the Merseysiders.

The win was a significant one, as it secured Everton’s place in the Premier League next season.

Although he did not score, fans took to social media to shower praises on Iwobi for helping the toffees preserve their Premier League status with his outstanding performances.

Before Lampard’s appointment, Iwobi was suffering a lull and was constantly an object of ridicule among fans.

However, since the Chelsea legend took over at Goodison Park, Iwobi has churned out great displays, whether in midfield or defence.

Lad you’ve elevated your teammates, you’re one of the biggest positives to come out of this nightmare season.
