The German youth international has been the subject of interest from several European clubs after yet another impressive campaign in Austria
Thomas Solomon, the representative of Salzburg youngster Karim Adeyemi, admits that Napoli are one of the sides that are following the progress of the talented attacker but maintains that his client will remain with the Austrian champions at least for another season.
Born in Munich to a Nigerian father and a Romania mother, the 18-year-old striker is one of the world’s true gems with the former FC Bayern youngster’s style of play often compared with that of France’s Kylian Mbappe.
Adeyemi has enjoyed another decent campaign with Salzburg team B, netting nine goals and assisting another eight in just 14 games in the Liga 2.
The youngster was equally impressive in the UEFA Youth League, where he managed three goals and four assists in seven matches.
Despite his impressive displays in the lower leagues, Adeyemi was only afforded five appearances in the Bundesliga for Salzburg’s senior team, yet he managed to create three assists.
But the young talent is not looking to continue his development elsewhere with Salzburg an excellent team to grow in, according to his manager.
“Without wanting to be too arrogant, Karim is an extremely good player for his age,” Solomon told Area Napoli.
“Many top European clubs are following him, and there is also that Napoli is one of them.
“A farewell in summer is out of the question, we are very professional, and we are not in a hurry.
“For his qualities, Karim could play immediately in any top club, but he needs time to level up. Salzburg is a good team to grow in; her,e he improves step by step.”
