Nigerian striker Rafiu Durosinmi scored the equalizer for Pisa in their hard-fought 1-1 draw against Atalanta on Friday, Soccernet.ng reports.
Durosinmi joined Serie A club Pisa only last week after weeks of speculation. The 23-year-old striker had been linked to several clubs in Europe's top five leagues over the last few months following his impressive performances for Viktoria Plzen.
He was linked with clubs like Gent, West Ham, and Eintracht Frankfurt, but it was Pisa who eventually secured his signature in a deal worth €9 million, making him the club's most expensive signing ever.

Durosinmi made his debut on Friday when his new club welcomed Atalanta to the Arena Garibaldi.
He did not start the match but was introduced in the 68th minute in place of Henrik Meister.
Unfortunately for him, Atalanta scored 25 minutes later courtesy of Nikola Krstovic. This goal came after La Dea had missed a plethora of chances, and it looked as though they would walk away with the victory.
However, Durosinmi had the perfect response, scoring in the 87th minute. The Nigerian striker rose to meet a cross from Marcel Leris on the right of Pisa’s attack and placed a fine header past Marco Carnesecchi in the Atalanta goal.

Durosinmi's effort drew his side level and ensured that both teams shared the spoils after 90 minutes.
After the game, the Nigerian striker deservedly walked away with the Man of the Match award.

Rafiu Durosinmi Announcing Himself To Europe
Rafiu Durosinmi's debut performance shows shows his quality and why a club like Pisa decided to break their transfer record.
During his time at Viktoria Plzen, he was quite brilliant, contributing 35 goals and 10 assists in 86 appearances.

The 23-year-old striker even nearly moved to Eintracht Frankfurt two years ago, but the deal fell through in the end after he suffered an injury.
With this move to Pisa, he has a chance to prove himself as a top player in Europe. And of course, he has the talent to do it.
It is expected that he will shine in Pisa. And if that happens, he will likely seal a move to a bigger club in the coming days.
