Despite the French league forced to a premature end due to the coronavirus pandemic, Simon Moses has been brilliant enough to continue to attract the attention of suitors in Europe
Spanish club Sevilla are reportedly interested in the services of the Nigerian forward who has been one of Nantes’ standout performers in a topsy-turvy campaign.
The 24-year-old has been turning heads at La Beaujoire-Louis Fonteneau since joining the Canaries on loan from Levante.
Simon has contributed 17 goals (nine goals and eight assists) in 30 appearances to the Yellow Canaries’ cause this term.
His performances have marked him out as a massive bargain for Christian Gourcuff’s team since his temporary switch from the Spanish top-flight outfit.
Nantes are keen to have Moses Simon remain at the club after the expiration of his season-long loan deal from Levante.
But Lyon and Rennes are believed to be monitoring the situation intending to steal in and snatch the former Genk star should negotiations hit a wall.
However, according to Football Addict as per VamosMi Seville, Sevilla have also listed Simon among the potential replacements for want-away star Nolito.
It is unlikely, though, that Simon returns to La Liga after enduring a difficult time there last year, especially with him enjoying his stay in France so far.
