Super Eagles Star Aims For Victory As Torino Tackle Inter Milan

Super Eagles defender, Ola Aina will be aiming to help Torino secure a precious victory as the team face high-flying Inter Milan at the Stadio Olimpico Grande in Saturday’s Serie A clash.

Aina was in great form for the senior national team as they defeated Benin and Lesotho in a 2021 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers during the international break. Recall that he provided an assist for Victor Osimhen’s goal against Lesotho and was the originator of the penalty against Benin that was converted by the Lille forward.

Having registered 10 appearances, the Nigerian international will be hoping to add steel in Torino’s defense against Inter Milan.

A total of 14 points has left them in 11th spot in the table, some 17 points off their opponents on Saturday night after four wins, two draws, and six defeats.

The Bull returned to winning ways in style before the international break, though, as they put four goals past Brescia. It has been a tough run of matches when considering that two of their last three have been against Lazio and Juve, while they must now face the second-best side in the league according to the table.

Torino would actually be doing their bitter rivals Juve a huge favour by overcoming Inter but that will not be in their minds on Saturday night as they look to move up the division.

Possible Line Ups

Torino: Sirigu; Izzo, N’Koulou, Bremer; Ansaldi, Lukic, Rincon, Meite, Aina; Verdi; Belotti

Inter Milan: Handanovic; Skriniar, Godin, De Vrij; Biraghi, Barella, Brozovic, Sensi, Candreva; Martinez, Lukaku
