Reigning Italian Serie A champions Inter Milan must make a significant decision regarding the future of Super Eagles midfielder Ebenezer Akinsanmiro this summer, Soccernet.ng reports.

​Since joining Inter Milan in 2023, Akinsanmiro has spent the majority of his time developing away from the club. Due to intense competition within the Nerazzurri squad, the 21-year-old has completed two separate loan spells to gain senior experience.

​Two seasons ago, he was on loan at Sampdoria in Serie B. Most recently, he spent the season with Pisa following their promotion to Serie A. During his time there, the former Remo Stars man provided one assist in 25 appearances, though he was unable to help the club avoid relegation as they finished at the bottom of the table.

​When Akinsanmiro joined Pisa, a purchase option was included in the contract, giving the club the right to sign him permanently. In this instance, a €7.5 million buy-option was inserted—a figure Pisa are willing to trigger.
