Gerard Pique is not in good terms with Barcelona chief

Barcelona defender Gerard Pique is not in good terms with Camp Nou chief Pep Segura.

Pique was angered earlier this season after Segura publicly criticised his performance in the Supercopa defeat to Real Madrid.

The former Manchester United defender is still bristling over Segura’s words, particularly as no apology has been forthcoming.

Don Balon says Pique has been lobbying to have Segura removed from his job – and insists he has the support of the locker room.

Surprising, Segura no longer is available for post-match reaction, with technical director Robert Fernandez now taking that role.

Barcelona will be up against Sporting Lisbon in Portugal in their Champions League matchday two clash on Wednesday.
