A Spanish journalist claims that Neymar is trying to force an exit to leave La Liga outfit Barcelona.
Having renewed Lionel Messi’s deal, the Catalans find themselves under siege from PSG, who want to nab star player Neymar from the Blaugrana.
The 25-year-old has been reported to want to leave because he wants to play a primary role, and not be behind Lionel Messi in the hierarchies.
Coyly telling a Catalan paper that “you never know” about the future a few days ago, Neymar is also alleged to have told some PSG players that he was moving there.
“I don’t know if he will go to PSG, or somewhere else, or if anyone will pay the €200 million [release clause, actually €222m],” Spanish journalist Jaume Roures told Radio Marca.
“But I know that things have put in motion to favor an exit.“Playing with Messi is a great disadvantage if you’re worried about your personal image”, he added.
