England youth international Chuba Akpom and Hull City will be involved in the fourth round of the Capital One Cup thanks to their hard fought 1 – 0 win against Swansea City on Tuesday night.

The Arsenal loanee, who went the distance at the KC Stadium, acknowledged that The Tigers did not achieve the victory on a platter of gold and thanked the supporters for consistently cheering the team.

“Wow what a win , had to grind it out !! onto the next round #hcafc ,” Chuba Akpom tweeted on Tuesday night.
“Feel like I just ran a marathon btw lol fans were class 👌🏾 .”

Chuba Akpom has registered his name on the scoresheet two times this season but has fired blanks in his last 8 games across all competitions.

Just read MOU's rant and I wonder if this guy really does not moan Wenger while in bed with his wife? To every question, it's Arsene. Obviously, Le Prof remains the only problem this guy has in life. He must really envy the love, loyalty and trust that Arsenal board has for Wenger. Such is the reward which is usually guaranteed an employee who helps builds and develops his employer's business and image. Come to think of it, which club owner will not be quick to sack a manager whose actions and words builds a vast enemy base around the world even though he had just won a trophy while at the same time converting a collection of wonderfully talented players into a rugby team?
