Flying Eagles number one shot stopper Dele Alampasu has finally moved overseas after his wonderful goal keeping actions for his country’s Under-17 and U-20 teams.
The Flying Eagles goalkeeper signed for Portuguese top flight outfit Estoril Praia on Monday 2nd February.
The youngster who turned 18 in December, was excellent when Nigeria won their fourth FIFA U-17 World Cup two years ago in UAE, keeping several clean sheets in the tournament. Alampasu was voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament; winning the Golden Glove.
Alampasu would be happy to join several of his team-mates from that schoolboy team – Kelechi Iheanacho, Isaac Success, Musa Yahaya, Chidera Ezeh, Chidiebere Nwakali, Taiwo Awoniyi and Aliyu Abubakar – who have moved to Europe.
