Kelechi Iheanacho, despite slipping out of Brendan Rodgers’ starting lineup, has shown to be more essential to the squad.
Nigerian star Kelechi Iheanacho set an excellent example during Leicester City’s game against Leeds United by persistently facilitating a build-up that resulted in a crucial goal.
Dean Smith’s team was behind the hosts by a goal when Iheanacho, although hobbling and sporting a scowl, tirelessly set up James Maddison. Maddison then made a lovely ball for Jamie Vardy to put it past Illan Meslier.
The Nigerian persisted with the ball for three or four more steps on the leg before delivering a flawless pass to Maddison with his other leg, defying his natural instinct to give up and collapse to the ground.
In their attempt to successfully escape relegation, the Foxes came to the Elland Road hoping to build on their earlier triumph against Wolverhampton.
The Super Eagles striker, who was motivated to lead Leicester to further victory following the Wolves match, was once again seen putting his body on the line for a goal as Leicester were frantically trying to equalise despite losing a key relegation match to Leeds at the moment.

James Maddison and Iheanacho had many efforts earlier in the game that the French goalkeeper Meslier turned away, but Patson Daka and Vardy came in the second half to assist City in getting the crucial goal.
When Leicester hosts Everton at the King Power Stadium on Monday, they will be looking for another win in an effort to pull ahead of Sean Dyche’s team by a larger margin of points.
