The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025) is set to kick off in a few days, and the excitement is already palpable.
It will be 28 days of high-level football on the continent, as some of the best players in the world trade tackles across nine stadiums in six Moroccan cities.
For Africa, the AFCON is not just about football; it serves as an opportunity for different cultures to intersect. It encompasses everything—the food, music, dance, and, of course, attire.
All these are important elements of the African identity, and the different participating teams have taken it upon themselves to show up and show out.
In most AFCON tournaments, teams showcase their cultural heritage through their traditional outfits upon arriving in the host country. This year is no different.
In this article, Soccernet.ng highlights the different ways some of the participating countries turned up in Morocco for the 2025 AFCON.
