Fenerbahce had to come back from a goal down to claim a result against Antalyaspor at Antalya Stadyumu
Super Eagles defender Bright Osayi-Samuel put in a good shift at right-back for Fenerbahce to help them to a 2-1 victory at Antalyaspor.
Fenerbahce continued their title charge when they traveled to Antalya to take on Antalyaspor. Coach Jorge Jesus handed Super Eagles defender Osayi-Samuel a start at right-back.
However, the game did not start well for the Yellow Canaries as Haji Wright gave Antalyaspor the lead in the 14th minute.
Fenerbahce piled the pressure on the home side in a bid to restore parity. Unfortunately, Antalyaspor held on strong to take the lead into the break.
The former Turkish champions started the second half with fire in their bellies, and they eventually got their breakthrough in the 55th minute through Michy Batshuayi.
Before Antalyaspor could regain their compose, Fenerbahce struck again. The yellow canaries were awarded a penalty after an Antalyaspor player Guray Vural committed a handball in the box.
Batshuayi was in hand to dispatch the spot-kick and put Fenerbahce ahead for the first time.
Osayi-Samuel had a good showing in defense. He registered 76 touches, four dribbles, one interception, and one key pass.
Antalyaspor scored late in the game, but it was ruled out for offside. Fenerbahce ran out with the 2-1 victory.
