The last six months have been remarkable for the Super Eagles star and he does not look like he would stop anytime soon
Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was voted the Player of the Match by Everton fans after a brilliant display in their hard-fought 1-0 victory over West Ham.
For Iwobi nowadays, churning brilliant performances has become rather instinctive. The 26-year-old has been one the most improved players under Frank Lampard at Everton despite playing in a new position.
Iwobi had yet another brilliant performance in the middle of the park for the Toffees, helping them claim their first win of the season against West Ham.
The Arsenal Academy product registered 43 touches, an 83 percent pass accuracy, two key passes, two successful dribbles, three clearances, and his assist for Neal Maupay’s 53rd-minute goal was just the icing on his cake.
His performance was well appreciated by the Goodison faithful, who went on the vote him as the Player of the match.
