Outgoing Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly been given the chance to become the highest-paid manager in the world by a Chinese Super League club.
The 68-year-old is understood to have a number of offers on the table following last week’s news that he is to leave the Emirates Stadium next month.
Wenger is currently earning wages of £8m a year with his 22 years reign at Arsenal coming to an end.
According to The Mirror claiming that Frenchman has been offered £24m a year and he will overtake Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola and China national team boss Marcelo Lippi as the highest paid manager in the world.
The same report indicates that Wenger would still prefer to take charge of a team in Spain or his native France, however, particularly a side that he can help to grow.
