But Galatasaray appears to be in pole position for the Nigeria internationals signature as things stand, having opened a line of communication with his agent.
The 19-time Super Lig champions, viewed Raheem Lawal, who possesses both defensive and offensive qualities, they also feel he will be the ideal successor to Wesley Sneijder and Felipe Melo.
