The French Champions reached the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 1994/1995 following a dramatic win over Gian Piero Gasperini’s men.
Paris Saint Germain became the fourth side in the history of Champions League to be losing a game coming into the 90th minute and win.
Thomas Tuchel’s side joins Manchester United vs Bayern Munich (Final) 1999, Bayern Munich vs Chelsea (2005 QF), and Dortmund vs Malaga(2013 QF) as the only sides to achieve this feat.

This season’s quarte-finals, which is a single game affair, kicked off with PSG taking on Atalanta in Lisbon. It was a highly anticipated scored as both teams had over 100 goals this season.
PSG went into the clash as the slight favourites, and they should have taken the lead in the opening ten minutes through Neymar.
The Brazilian was put through on goal, but his skewed effort went wide with only the keeper to beat. It was a miss PSG would rue as Atalanta took the lead courtesy of a Mario Pasalic left-foot strike in the 27th minute.
But despite the setback, the French side continued to dominate possession, and once again Neymar was presented with another chance, but he blazed his effort wide.
Atalanta went into the break with the lead, but PSG came out firing in the second half, pouring forward in numbers.
But despite the pressure, Atalanta held on, although it was glaring the players were running on their last legs.
PSG’s pressure would finally pay off as they got back on levelled terms in the 90th minute. After Choupo Mouting’s cross found Neymar, the former Barcelona star fired a low cross which was converted by Marquinhos.
But there was more drama as the French Champions scored the winner in added time. Neymar’s brilliant ball found Mbappe who then squared for Choupo Moting to fire home into the net.
It was a disappointing defeat for Atalanta as they were just minutes away from continuing their fairytale journey. Nonetheless, it has been a brilliant season for Giasperni’s men. PSG meanwhile awaits the winner of RB Leipzig vs Atletico Madrid clash.
