He only just signed last summer, but he Henry Onyekuru has struggled to find his feet in the French top division since he joined Monaco from Everton.
The 22-year-old has only made four appearances for Leonardo Jardim’s side this season, scoring just a lone goal. It’s a stark contrast to last season where he scored 16 goals in all competitions for Galatasary.
With him struggling for form at Stade Louis II, a move back to Galatasary has been mooted ahead of the January transfer window.
However, the Lions will have to compete with La Liga side, Celta Vigo who have reportedly joined the race to sign the former Anderlecht star.
Reports emerging from Turkey suggest that Celta Vigo have joined Galatasaray in the race to sign Henry Onyekuru in the January transfer window.

The Os Celestes are currently 18th in La Liga table and are one of the lowest-scoring sides in the league this season. Celta Vigo have scored just a meagre seven goals in the Spanish topflight this season and are looking for reinforcement in their striking department.
With Onyekuru struggling for games in Ligue 1, Celta Vigo are interested in bringing him Estadio Municipal de Balaídos with the hope he could solve their striking woes.
However, it is left to see if Onyekuru will be interested in a move to Spain having turned down a move to CSKA Moscow and Lokomotiv Moscow.
The Nigerian international revealed he has his heart set on a return to the Türk Telekom Stadium- home of Galatasary.
“I don’t have any Russia in my career plans. If Galatasaray makes the transfer and agree with Monaco, I would like to go to my old team without hesitation, Onyekuru said.
