Super Eagles midfielder, Kelechi Iheanacho was on the winning side as Manchester City pummeled Stoke City 4-1 at the Britannia Stadium in Saturday’s early kick off in the Premier League.
Iheanacho was a second half substitute for two-goal hero Sergio Aguero who scored in the 27th and 36th minute to give the away a comfortable lead before the Nigerian international gave an assist to Manuel Nolito to net City’s third goal in the 86th minute.
However, City compounded Stoke City’s woes despite reducing the scoreline to 3-1 as Nolito grabbed his brace with a simple tap-in to earn the Citizens another maximum points after thumping Sunderland in their opening fixture last week.
The former Golden Eaglets star had a big impact in the game and will be hoping to maintain his form under City coach, Pep Guardiola.
