Nigeria striker Odion Ighalo could still leave Watford for China if they get an offer of around £25million.
The Premier League club are believed to be asking several Chinese clubs for a fee of £25million pounds for Ighalo, claims AfricanFootball.com.
The 27-year old has been linked with a move away from Vicarage Road, following a poor start to the season, and even though a proposed move to West Brom fellthrough, it seems Ighalo could still quit Watford notwithstanding.
And according to the report, a last-minute deal could still be hammered even though the transfer deadline is now less than four days away.
“There is more than one offer (for Ighalo) and it might be from China,” AfricanFootball.com quoted a source.
It is believed that Shanghai Shenhua, where Obafemi Martins plays and who current signed Carlos Tevez making him the highest earning footballer in the world, have already tabled a £15million for Ighalo.
Walter Mazzarri, the Watford boss himself confirmed at Friday evening press conference that the club have received a number of offers for Ighalo.
“I have just heard now that there is a very important offer which we are evaluating,” the Watford manager said.
