1. Former Spanish international Luis Enrique was a great attacking midfielder in the nineties winning both La Liga and Copa Del Rey three times with two clubs.
2. During his playing career, he played in all positions except Central Defender and Goalkeeper.
3. He started his playing career for Sporting Gijon from 1989 to 1991 when he left for Real Madrid.
4. He played for Real for 5 years before moving to Barcelona where he spent 8 seasons.

5. He famously scuffled with the great Zidane in an El Clásico match up which lead to a heated altercation between both sides.
