Victor Osimhen continues to be linked with an exit from Galatasaray despite the club and the Nigerian forward insisting he sees his immediate future in Istanbul, Soccernet.ng reports.
The rumour mills have hit a new buzz in the unfolding Osimhen saga after his representative, George Gardi, was spotted in Spain this week.
According to a Haber report, Gardi travelled to Madrid for fresh discussions over a possible Osimhen move to Atlético Madrid.
Although Real Madrid have often been linked with the Super Eagles striker in recent months, Gardi's latest visit is understood to be focused on talks with Atlético Madrid, who are looking to strengthen their attack before the start of the new season.
The transfer race has become increasingly competitive as several top European clubs and a wealthy Saudi Pro League side continue to monitor the Nigerian international. However, Galatasaray remain determined to keep their most valuable asset despite the growing interest.

Atlético Madrid push as Galatasaray refuse to lower asking price
Atlético Madrid are reportedly continuing negotiations with Osimhen's camp in the hope of reaching an agreement that could lead to the biggest transfer of the summer.
The Turkish champions, however, have made it clear they are not willing to sell cheaply. Reports claim Galatasaray recently rejected a €120 million offer from an unnamed club because club president Dursun Özbek wants around €150 million before allowing the striker to leave.
The competition for Osimhen is not limited to Spain. Another Saudi Pro League club has also submitted a fresh €120 million proposal after previous reports linked the striker with Al Hilal. Despite those rumours, George Gardi has already denied claims that Osimhen is close to joining Al Hilal.
Another unnamed European heavyweight is believed to have also made a verbal offer worth €125 million.
Several elite clubs continue to keep a close watch on the situation. Chelsea remain interested after failing to sign him in previous transfer windows, while Manchester United are said to have reduced their interest because of the huge financial package involved.

Elsewhere, Paris Saint-Germain are believed to admire the Nigerian striker as they look to rebuild their attack, while Bayern Munich and Juventus have made enquiries to understand the total cost of any possible transfer. Arsenal and Barcelona have also been informed about Osimhen's availability but currently see him as a backup option to other attacking targets. Real Madrid, meanwhile, continue monitoring developments without making a formal move.
Osimhen remains focused on Galatasaray
Despite all the attention surrounding his future, reports from Turkey suggest Osimhen is not actively looking to leave Galatasaray this summer.
The 27-year-old is said to be enjoying life in Istanbul and recently held a meeting with manager Okan Buruk to discuss the club's preparations for next season, including training plans and tactical ideas.
While Osimhen would welcome the chance to play in the Premier League or La Liga if the right opportunity arrives, he is not forcing a transfer or creating problems within the dressing room. Instead, he has continued to show commitment to Galatasaray's long-term plans.

The Super Eagles striker has even taken on a leadership role behind the scenes by recommending players he believes could improve the squad. Reports claim he has encouraged the club to pursue fellow Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare as well as defender Emmanuel Fernandez before the new campaign begins.
Galatasaray's confidence has grown further after a positive video meeting involving Osimhen, the club's management and Okan Buruk. Club officials reportedly believe the striker wants to stay and are even considering offering him the captain's armband as a reward for his leadership and importance to the team.
Osimhen's commitment to competing at the highest level in Europe was also boosted by his decision to reject a contract worth between €30 million and €35 million per season from Saudi Arabia. His priority remains challenging for major domestic titles and competing in European competitions rather than accepting a lucrative move outside Europe.
The Super Eagles forward has already made his mark at Sporting Charleroi, Lille, Napoli and Galatasaray.
