Super Eagles attacker Samuel Chukwueze has become a summer transfer target for two former Serie A champions, Soccernet.ng reports.
The Super Eagles winger has just concluded his loan spell at Fulham in West London. However, the Craven Cottage side failed to trigger the buy option attached to his loan agreement.
Although Chukwueze was quite decent under former Fulham boss Marco Silva, he struggled with consistency, which makes Fulham's decision quite understandable.

Now, he is back at AC Milan, and it remains unknown if he will stay with the Rossoneri or move on. Most notably, reigning Turkish Cup Trabzonspor champions put in a €15 million bid for him, but it was rejected by AC Milan.
However, they are not the only clubs eyeing the tricky 27-year-old winger.
Bologna and Fiorentina Could Try to Sign Chukwueze From AC Milan
Italian Serie A sides Bologna and Fiorentina are plotting a transfer for Chukwueze this summer, according to the Italian outlet Calciomercato.

Bologna is looking to strengthen its squad ahead of next season, and the 27-year-old is highly rated for their project.
Fiorentina also see the attacker as a high-profile signing to replace departing wingers like Manor Solomon from Tottenham and Jack Harrison from Leeds United, who have just ended their loan spells at that club.
Chukwueze has often shown glimpses of what he can deliver on his day, but consistency has been his bane. Nonetheless, AC Milan still rate him highly and are determined to secure at least €26 million before sanctioning an exit.

Both Fiorentina and Bologna have won the Serie A title in the past. But given the reality that they are now mid-table clubs, and not financially robust, it remains to be seen if they can afford such a transfer. Moreover, Chukwueze currently earns well over €70,000 weekly, which is a significant figure, and a significant pay cut will definitely not appeal to him.
As it stands, it is difficult to see any headway for Chukwueze. But perhaps, by the start of pre-season, his situation could be a bit clearer.
