Super Eagles striker Akor Adams is poised to leave Sevilla after just eighteen months with the record UEFA Europa League Champions, Soccernet.ng reports.
The 26-year-old had a tough start to life in Spain, making just four appearances due to muscle problems. His full debut season saw his market value rise to €25m.
Adams scored 10 league goals for Sevilla, helping them out in crucial games towards the end of the season to secure top-flight status. The season's highs also saw him score against Barcelona.
In turn, that led to him getting a call-up for the Nigerian National team back in October. He made his debut against Lesotho, scoring off the bench and immediately becoming a key player alongside Victor Osimhen in the Super Eagles attack under Eric Chelle.

Akor Adams agrees on personal terms with Serie A side Venezia
Sevilla are in a tight spot financially. Five Eleven Capital, alongside a group of international investors, completed a takeover of the club, worth around €450 million, with former Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos the face of the new administration.
The club's financial situation means sales would be necessary this summer, and Adams is one of the most valuable players in the team.
He's been linked with a move to French side Olympique de Marseille in recent weeks, but nothing concrete have surfaced from the one-time UEFA Champions League winners.

As per Estadio Deportivo, Akor Adams knows of the club’s financial difficulties and is prepared to accept whatever decision Sevilla makes, provided that the offer that satisfies the club also meets his own sporting and financial expectations.
Soccernet.ng previously reported that an unnamed Italian club were keen on the services of the former Montpellier striker. It now appears that the club is newly-promoted side, Venezia.
The Winged Lions sealed a return to the Serie A after winning the Serie B by a close margin, edging Frosinone by just a point. They're already planning to stay in the Italian top-flight, hence their pursuit of the ten-goal Sevilla striker.
As per Calcio Mercato insider William Lasalandra, Venezia have reached an agreement with Akor Adams for a move this summer. Both parties are aligned on the contractual terms, and a conversation with Sevilla will ensue in the coming days.

It is believed that the one-time La Liga Champions will be expecting around €20m for the 15-cap Super Eagles striker, almost quadruple the amount they paid to Montpellier to secure his services in 2025.

In the meantime, Akor Adams is enjoying his holiday with his family in Nigeria. A decision about his future is expected to be made before the new season kicks off in five days.
