The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to battle the Biało-czerwon of Poland in their friendly clash at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw later today, Soccernet.ng reports.
Akor Adams didn't feature in the 2026 Unity Cup tournament in London, but he's revealed how the three-time African Champions plan to defeat Jan Urban's side.
The 26-year-old will most likely lead the line for Eric Chelle's side tonight, having been trusted to do so during the March friendlies against Jordan and Iran in Victor Osimhen's absence.
Adams made his Super Eagles debut against Lesotho in October 2025, coming off the bench and scoring on his first appearance. Since then, he's partnered Victor Osimhen in Nigeria's attack whenever the Galatasaray man is fully fit.

Nigeria vs Poland: Akor Adams reveals Super Eagles' plan
Nigeria and Poland have only met once, which happened in a friendly match in March 2018. Victor Moses scored the game's only goal, beating Lukasz Fabianski from twelve yards.
Ahead of the clash, Akor explained that the team have had very little time to train in Warsaw. Still, he reiterated their desire to put up their best performance and follow Chelle's instructions.
“We've had a very short time to train and to prepare for the game,” the Sevilla striker said in an interview with Ubuntu Pitch.

“Like always, I think we're ready, we know why we're here. Poland are very good opponents,” Akor Adams continued.
“Many of us have had a lot of games through our legs in the course of the season, but we're ready and we'll see what happens.
“Since the head coach [Eric Chelle] came, we have tried to build an identity of our strenghts. We play with a lot of intensity and aggresivity. We also like to play with the ball.
“We take chances when we have them. So, like every other game, we're going to play the same way, keep our DNA, and try to share the same result,” former Montpellier striker concluded.

The game will be played at Stadion Narodowy, Warsaw, Poland. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:45 PM (Nigerian Time).
